About the Author
ELISE LAKEY
What started with a love of gardening quickly grew into a project larger than her wildest dreams. In 2022, Elise founded the online community Garden Theology with the goal of mentoring the next generation in the Spirit and cultivating biblical literacy in young adults.
Based in Nashville, Elise currently writes and teaches in both business and ministry settings. She has a background in creative writing, photography, visual art, and marketing—and pursues other random hobbies like bread making and vermicomposting.
When she’s not writing, she’s usually weaving tapestries, cultivating roses, or dancing around the kitchen.
